proof that he's just a freegan -
i don't know how many other ways to tell people we're raising him vegan ...the above is a note written on the paper sack i had hayden's (soy) yogurt in for his afternoon snack at school. they wrote "his yogurt is in the frig. we had sherbert for snack". last time i checked, sherbert was not vegan.
serious, i'm asking for a discount on my next bill!

It's weird how schools can understand food allergies, but not veganism!
i pack all his food (plus extras)and always leave a note of what is in his lunch box for that day, i don't see why it's so hard ... i should have just said he was highly allergic to any animal products from the get go! i feel like a broken record and sometimes think it would be way easier to just raise him vegetarian and then i travel over to why vegan or peta and then remember oh yeah, this is why i'm doing this ... ha ha. but, seriously just stay on track people, i speak up because one day it might be meat they give him and i'd seriously flip my lid!
Autumn, what is a freegan? I've never run across the term before.

Grrrr. You should write them a formal letter of complaint so that they actually take you seriously.
maybe you should SWTICH it to allergies...oh yeah. you said that.
